Live Stream: Cold War Kids Intimate Performance on Red Bull TV
It’s hard to believe that June 15th will mark 10 years since Cold War Kids released their first EP, Mulberry Street. Since then they have fought the good fight of rock and roll bands in the main stream. Somehow, Cold War Kids are able to maintain their originality and edge and still sell records. They are a GREAT example of a band that can make money and still make good music. On Wednesday, June 10th at 2pm pacific time, Cold War Kids will enter Red Bull Sound Space at the KROQ radio station to play an intimate show for just 275 fans. Chances are you weren’t one of the lucky ones to win tickets to this event but you can stream this show LIVE and up to 24 hours after the show ends, right here on JankySmooth.com. I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with what Red Bull is doing in music. I was able to attend the Alabama Shakes Red Bull Sound Space performance last month but Janky Smooth was not cleared to shoot or write about that show. This time, Janky Smooth will be shooting the event along with a review of the performance. But why count on

Live Stream: Alabama Shakes Intimate Performance on Janky Smooth
If you close your eyes and listen to Alabama Shakes you feel as if you have been transported to another era. It’s the type of music that transcends genre. Frontwoman, Brittany Howard’s voice is effortlessly epic- reminiscent of the tortured textures of the likes of Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin. Today at 2pm pacific time, Alabama Shakes will be performing live for only 275 fans at Red Bull Sound Space located in the KROQ radio station’s broadcast facility in Culver City along with a Q and A with the band. Chances are that you are NOT one of the lucky fans selected to attend the show but you can stream the show LIVE, worldwide on JankySmooth.com and for 24 hours after the performance. I WILL be attending the show (nya nya nya) but media outlets such as Janky Smooth have been asked not to review or cover the performance in any way so make sure you don’t miss the live stream or the footage that will be looping for the next 24 hours. I’m beyond stoked that I will be able to live preview the new material from the new Alabama Shakes album, Sound and Color that is being released on
