Ever since Odd Future first flooded the internet with a viral onslaught of fresh new talent and perfectly crafted vulgarities, Tyler the Creator has been in the stratosphere of young artists doing things their way. You never know who or what you will see at a Tyler the Creator show. Riots, special guests from OFWGKTA crew or associated spin off acts. One thing is clear- Tyler the Creator is at the helm of the future of hip hop and DIY producers.
This New Years Eve, Tyler the Creator will be playing a show at Club Nokia along with DJ Billy Jole aka Earl Sweatshirt and Lionel Boyce. You can purchase tickets here or enter to win one of two pairs of tickets that Janky Smooth will be giving away for the show.

I have been a huge fan of Tyler and Odd Future since 2011 and I wish it was a possibility for me to attend every possible show I could. I’m usually used to buying my tickets weeks in advanced but this year my family and I are the poorest we have been in a while. I stopped pursuing buying the tickets to try to save money for food and the upcoming holidays. My mom isn’t able to afford a lot this year and I am okay with that because I am just happy to be with my family and loved ones. Hopefully I win. If I do that would mean so much to me. Thank you for hearing the personal reason I would love to win the tickets. Happy holidays.

My name is Samia (pronounced Sa-my-a) errr I’ve been a fan of Tyler and the whole OF crew for a while now, I would say since I was a freshman in hs. Their music really helped me with a lot of things going on at the time from my family being homeless to my mom’s cancer, everything, so I really appreciate them for that. Throughout the years I have done some pretty wild things just to see these guys. My first ever concert was actually the one they had at the Hollywood Palladium a few years ago (funny story about that: the ticket was like $42 back then and I actually took my mom’s card to buy it — I felt so bad lol . But I eventually paid her back, don’t trip lol) I’ve been to album releases at the store here in LA, I’ve been to one of the warehouse shows, and it’s crazy because through all of that (and mind you I’m the farthest thing from rich) I managed to make it to every big show since the Hollywood palladium except for the 2nd carnival with Kanye (I did go to this years though and it was awesome, even by myself lol), It always fascinates me and lifts me to this positive space watching people that I am really inspired by. I would really like it if you guys chose me because not only am I a fan of the music and I think it would be turnt up lol, I’m just a fan of what they stand for, what Tyler stands for — doing what you want and not letting anybody tell you it’s not okay. 🙂

I didnt know something so childish looking with all the bright colors and shit could be so amazing and deep. I instantly loved it and began supporting as much as I could.
